My 3 Best and Worst Android Game Apps I've Played

Best Game Apps

1. Angry Birds

This is the very first Android game that I played. The objective of the game is rather simple: fling birds to eliminate targets with some obstacles along the way. Angry birds is a game that can be played by all ages, so long as the user knows mechanics of the game like effect of different type of birds.  Various stages that vary in difficulty are available for users to conquer.

Basic knowledge of physics is optional because the trial and error method is an available option in most game. The interface is very easy to interact with even for absolute beginners. The graphics are very modern and smooth; kids will most likely find it attractive. It may consume a lot of your time as it can be addictive for some users.

2. X Construction

The game's goal is for the user to construct a "bridge" in order for the train to reach to the end of the path safely. The user is given a set amount of building materials for each level. It is up to the user to design a path. In most levels, there are different ways to achieve the objective of getting the train safely across, while some are prove to be challenging. Of course, trial and error is always available.

The game interface is rather simple - mostly black and white though. It could use a revamp. Although, expect to get a few laughs with different attempts at bridge building. See how many ways you can get the train safely across in a level.

3. Fruit Ninja

Fruit ninja is a very straightforward game. The graphics used are eye candies to say the least.  The objective is to slice as much fruits while avoiding bombs. This game requires no thinking at all because all the user has to do is drag his finger along the screen as fast as possible to get more chances of slicing the fruits. The general strategy is to swipe three fingers across the screen as fast as possible. This method usually slices all the fruits in a difficult mode. It is a very easy game for the most part. Two player mode is available for some competitive action.

Worst Game Apps

1. Gem Miner

This is somewhat of a strategy game. The objective of the game is to gather materials in order to improve digging materials and other things related to it. The game has some content but it lacks in the graphics department. Some of the lessons that can be learned from the game is the management of materials. The concept itself is cute but the interface gives me a vintage game feel. As we all know, the game's interface plays a huge role in keeping users from getting bored easily.

2.Speed Forge 3D

Speed Forge 3D is a futuristic racing game that needs work on its graphics. Although I said that its graphics are rather sub-par, it has all the functions that make a racing game from mini map, to obstacles, to standings. It is nonetheless what it is - a racing game. I am not undermining the skills and efforts of the developers because I know how hard it is to make games like those. All I am saying is that when they decide to make a game, they should give more focus on the graphics.

3. Androidwar

Androwar is a real time strategy game. The user construct and commands units in an effort to defeat the opponent. Again, I am stressing the lack of good graphics which will definitely increase the interest of users. As how it is, I think only old school gamers will appreciate the game.

Conclusion:

I believe the problem of "bad" games are mostly due to the lack of better graphics and interface. The concept and mechanics of games are rather similar to each other and nothing much seperate games more than graphics and the UI in my opinion.
